一、 暖身運動不可少
　
1. 一本書的外型、封面、封底內外的字句，無不關係學生對此書的興趣，以下「讀前暖身話題」，我會請學生分組討論後將答案填寫在黑板上：
　
  • What's the title of the book?
    • Is this book a paperback or hardcover?
      • Who's the writer?
        • When was this book first published?
          • Who did the book cover illustrations?
            • Which publishing company published this book?

              • 　　學生對此書有了基本的概念後，可以先閱讀封底英美各大報對本書簡短的評論，以瞭解專家對該書的反應。

            2. 提供網址讓學生知道作者的背景及其創作此書的心歷路程：
            　 http://www.storiesfromtheweb.org/stories/rowling/interview.htm
